What is New Generation Network:
It is an annual meeting of key Pastors in Japan. Pastors, their wives and teams are welcome to attend.
“New Generation churches” may be of any size, but must:-
a.) have a passion for the local church to be built up.
b.) have a commitment to build the next generation of leaders in Japan.
Other pastors from other nations are welcome, but most main speakers will come from within Japan. The Network will be bi-lingual in both Japanese and English. If other languages are required, then you must be responsible to bring your own translator.
It has two purposes:
1. To build a network of friendship and encouragement between key pastors
2. To exchange encouraging stories and ideas about the church in Japan. “What’s working”, “what’s not working”, hear from breakthrough churches, ideas in youth, kid’s church, outreach, discipleship and leadership training.
What this Network is not:
- It is not another organization or denomination.
- It is not a time to preach your favorite sermon.
- It is not a time to promote your latest CD, book or program.
Why:
A number of years ago, an annual Network called the 500+ Conference started in Australia. Many pastors from around the world say this is their most valuable experience each year in learning new things from other pastors. It is uplifting and helps to build faith in local churches. There’s also a lot of fun and new friendships are made. Such a Network is now coming to Japan. Rod Plummer from Jesus Lifehouse and Steven Kaylor of Hope Church will be the facilitators. Other pastors from throughout Japan are already committed to coming.
How to be involved:
Please send your information about your name and the name of your church to us using the form mail first.
Then later, we will contact you about the next New Generation Network Meeting.
