1.Giving glory to Jesus for what he has done for us イエスが私たちのためにしてくれたことに栄光を帰そう

(Ephesians 1:3-8) Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will- to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves. (Ephesians 1:11-14) In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will, in order that we, who were the first to put our hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory. And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession- to the praise of his glory.

2. Giving glory to Jesus for who he is today　イエスが今日のイエスであることに栄光を帰そう

(Revelation 1:12-18) I turned around to see the voice that was speaking to me. And when I turned I saw seven golden lampstands, (13) and among the lampstands was someone like a son of man, dressed in a robe reaching down to his feet and with a golden sash around his chest. (14) The hair on his head was white like wool, as white as snow, and his eyes were like blazing fire. (15) His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace, and his voice was like the sound of rushing waters. (16) In his right hand he held seven stars, and coming out of his mouth was a sharp, double-edged sword. His face was like the sun shining in all its brilliance. (17) When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. Then he placed his right hand on me and said: “Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last. (18) I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades.

(Hebrews 7:25-26) Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them. Such a high priest truly meets our need—one who is holy, blameless, pure, set apart from sinners, exalted above the heavens.

3. Let’s give him praise and glorify his name in Japan now! 今、日本でイエスの名を賛美し、栄光をたたえよう

(Ephesians 1:6,12,14) to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves. (12) in order that we, who were the first to put our hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory. 3. Let’s pray that our lives’ may give glory to Him

(Joel 2:28) “And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions.

1. Be in the place where you’re supposed to be
- Lead others together, not only yourself

(1Timothy 4:12/NLT) Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity.

2. Let God himself work within you
- Because Jesus is in you, you can receive your vision

(Philippians 2:13-14) for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose. Do everything without grumbling or arguing

3. Find Your vision through new perspective
-In our ordinary lives, lots of things can be related to your vision

(Romans 12:2/NLT) Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

What is Courage?

-“The state of the mind or spirit that enables a person to face difficulty, danger, pain etc”.
-“Courage is not the absence of fear but doing things that you are afraid to do”

(Isaiah 60:1) “Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you.

-To move forward in life and reach your destiny, you have to be courageous. Courage is so important.

1. God tells us to be courageous

(Joshua 1:9) Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.

-God says ‘Do not be afraid’ 365 times in the bible. It is important to be courageous!!
-”Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one’s courage.” – Anais Nin

2. An example from the bible

(1 Samuel 17:45-50/The Message) David answered, “You come at me with sword and spear and battle-ax. I come at you in the name of GOD-of-the-Angel-Armies, the God of Israel’s troops, whom you curse and mock. This very day GOD is handing you over to me. I’m about to kill you, cut off your head, and serve up your body and the bodies of your Philistine buddies to the crows and coyotes. The whole earth will know that there’s an extraordinary God in Israel. And everyone gathered here will learn that GOD doesn’t save by means of sword or spear. The battle belongs to GOD—he’s handing you to us on a platter!” That roused the Philistine, and he started toward David. David took off from the front line, running toward the Philistine. David reached into his pocket for a stone, slung it, and hit the Philistine hard in the forehead, embedding the stone deeply. The Philistine crashed facedown in the dirt. That’s how David beat the Philistine—with a sling and a stone. He hit him and killed him. No sword for David!

(1 Samuel 17:34-37a/The Message) David said, “I’ve been a shepherd, tending sheep for my father. Whenever a lion or bear came and took a lamb from the flock, I’d go after it, knock it down, and rescue the lamb. If it turned on me, I’d grab it by the throat, wring its neck, and kill it. Lion or bear, it made no difference—I killed it. And I’ll do the same to this Philistine pig who is taunting the troops of God-Alive. GOD, who delivered me from the teeth of the lion and the claws of the bear, will deliver me from this Philistine.”

3. How do we grow in courage?

(1 John 4:4/The Message) You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.

(Joshua 1:5) All your life, no one will be able to hold out against you. In the same way I was with Moses, I’ll be with you. I won’t give up on you; I won’t leave you.

In Japan, I don’t know why but on Valentine’s day traditionally girls give chocolate as a gift to boys. Looking at people giving and receiving, it seems kind of nerve racking and makes your stomach flutter, doesn’t it?

But that way, how can we show our real hearts to the ones we love. Are there any guides or “steps” for a successful love life?

This is not just a manual for a good love-life but a guideline for those who want to know how great a relationship between a boy and girl can be when God is in it. It also has some great advice on how a person  can meet a great partner, and how they can build a good relationship with each other after meeting.

Whether you are ready for valentine’s day or not really into it, I recommend this book for you. Have a unique and amazing relationship based on the principles out of this book!

1.Get ready for a miracle moment from God

(Philemon 1:22/NLT) One more thing-please prepare a guest room for me, for I am hoping that God will answer your prayers and let me return to you soon.

2. When the moment comes act fast

(Acts 12:7-9/NLT) Suddenly, there was a bright light in the cell, and an angel of the Lord stood before Peter. The angel struck him on the side to awaken him and said, “Quick! Get up!” And the chains fell off his wrists. Then the angel told him, “Get dressed and put on your sandals.” And he did. “Now put on your coat and follow me,” the angel ordered. So Peter left the cell, following the angel. But all the time he thought it was a vision. He didn’t realize it was actually happening.

3. See the value of a tough moment

(James 1:2-4/NLT) Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.

(Hebrews 12:2/NLT) We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne.

(Matthew 5:13-16/The Message) “Let me tell you why you are here. You’re here to be salt-seasoning that brings out the God-flavors of this earth. If you lose your saltiness, how will people taste godliness? You’ve lost your usefulness and will end up in the garbage. “Here’s another way to put it: You’re here to be light, bringing out the God-colors in the world. God is not a secret to be kept. We’re going public with this, as public as a city on a hill. If I make you light-bearers, you don’t think I’m going to hide you under a bucket, do you? I’m putting you on a light stand. Now that I’ve put you there on a hilltop, on a light stand—shine! Keep open house; be generous with your lives. By opening up to others, you’ll prompt people to open up with God, this generous Father in heaven.

1. It is tasty enough: bring your own taste out

(Psalm 34:8/NLT) Taste and see that the LORD is good. Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him!

2. It is bright enough: Light your environment

(Philippians 2:14-15/NLT) Do everything without complaining and arguing, so that no one can criticize you. Live clean, innocent lives as children of God, shining like bright lights in a world full of crooked and perverse people.

3. It is Hot enough: Make people uncomfortable

(Revelation 3:15-17/NLT) “I know all the things you do, that you are neither hot nor cold. I wish that you were one or the other! But since you are like lukewarm water, neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth! You say, ‘I am rich. I have everything I want. I don’t need a thing!’ And you don’t realize that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked.

４. It is loud enough: Your Life speaks

(Romans 10:14) But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them?

(Romans 10:17) Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.

- To let the world shine, we change and rise

(Isaiah 60:1-2) “Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you. See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you and his glory appears over you.

If you want to start living a true life…

1. Realize the undiscovered problem within you

- The prodigal son realized his situation and what he had been doing

(Luke 15:17) “When he came to his senses, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have food to spare, and here I am starving to death!

2. Let’s live with God who gives true change

- You can hide your problems but it’s only Jesus who can remove them and renew you

(2 Corinthians 5:17) Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!

3. Stand up at where you are now and act!

-Start moving toward your true life

(Philippians 3:13-14) Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

-When you look at life through faith, the adventure from God appears in front of you-

(Hebrew 11:1/NLT) Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see.

(Matthew 17:19-20) Then the disciples came to Jesus in private and asked, “Why couldn’t we drive it out?” He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”

2 points for how to start an adventure!

1. Realize that you have faith!!
Although you don’t have faith until now, you can have faith today and get started

(Romans 10:17/NLT) So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ.

-Your faith has already started

2. Continue to run with your faith till the end
Let’s walk on the same rail without slowing down

(Hebrews 12:1-2/NLT) Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne.

A. Protect yourself from things that will stumble you

(Ephesians 6:16) In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.

B. Look beyond what will happen after you pay the sacrifice

(Philippians 3:10-11/NLT) I want to know Christ and experience the mighty power that raised him from the dead. I want to suffer with him, sharing in his death, so that one way or another I will experience the resurrection from the dead!
